We offer hole drilling in monument foundations for shepherd’s hooks and similar cemetery decorations.

Service fee: $50 per hole

Before placing your order

  1. Use a permanent marker to place a clearly visible “X” at the desired center of the hole.

  2. The marked location must provide at least 2 inches of clearance from every outer edge of the foundation.

  3. Take a clear photograph showing:

    • The entire monument or headstone

    • The full foundation

    • The marked “X”

  4. Measure and specify the required hole diameter.

Submitting an order does not guarantee that the requested location or diameter can be accommodated. We will contact you if the requested work cannot be completed safely or appropriately.

Please read before ordering: Monument foundations may contain hidden cracks, voids, reinforcement, weaknesses, or other unpredictable conditions that cannot be identified before drilling. The drilling process may reveal or worsen existing or concealed damage. By proceeding with this order, you acknowledge and accept these risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the cemetery and its contractors assume no responsibility or liability for cracking, chipping, breakage, movement, deterioration, or other damage caused by pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, material instability, or the ordinary performance of the requested drilling service.
